Who is Christina?
Christina is a former professional ballerina with a passion for teaching and sharing the beauty of ballet. Christina began her journey at the age of 10, training at Tallinn Ballet School. She graduated in 2011 and joined the Estonian National Ballet where she performed professionally until 2023.
After her career on stage, Christina transitioned to teaching, eager to pass on her knowledge and love for ballet. In February 2024, she founded Face the Barre, combining online and in-person coaching to make ballet accessible to dancers of all levels. Christina’s mission is to help you discover the joy, confidence, and strength that ballet can bring to your life.
She's also currently in the process of obtaining a fitness and nutrition coach certification.
Ballet for beginners, made simple
This course was designed for you whether you're a complete beginner who's never stepped foot in a ballet studio and have no knowledge of ballet at all.
An adult learner because it’s never too late to start ballet. Whether you’re in your 20s, 30s, 50s or beyond, this course provides a low-pressure, supportive way to build grace and strength at your own pace.
